About Me
I've been a photographer for a very long time now. I'm not going to tell you exactly when I started, just that it was post box brownie and pre-digital, a girl should be allowed to keep her age to herself you know!
I became a professional photographer around two years ago after completing my City & Guilds qualifications at Bournemouth & Poole College.
There's so much more to capturing the perfect image than just switching the lights on and pointing a camera, so keeping my skills relevant is important to me, especially in an industry where technologies are changing rapidly.
I’m a member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) and whenever possible attend professional development training to keep me up to date with new styles, techniques and technologies.
So what's my motivation? You of course! Honestly, I get a real buzz when people are genuinely happy with my work. The majority of us are camera shy, but what better way to end the working day than to hear how relaxed you felt during the session or to read a note from you letting me know how fantastic you think the images are!
